Our Story

Positive Outlook was originally founded as a nonprofit organization in 1984 to help support the underserved citizens of Compton, Lynwood, Watts and South Los Angeles. From our inception to now, we provide safe and secure housing for the unhoused, as well as for individuals recently released from jail or prison.

Clients are offered various self help services such as group therapy, anger management, resume creation, financial literacy, job readiness, proper healthcare, transportation assistance and long term housing placement.
